Shields up!

Yeah, I went all Bob Ross on this one and busted out the good ole 3 inch brush with cadmium blue (hope that is actually a paint color....) This is my travel clock rocking back and forth real fast making it look like it has some kind of shield.

Night Flower

My hibiscus is blooming and I'm glad it stays open pretty late. I used my flashlight to paint the pistol and stamens of this particular flower.

Warp Speed

I was moving very fast, you can almost see me at spots... I like the ghostly like images of me running around. And the flash light adds a nice warp speed effect.

Electric Chair

Florida is known for "Old Sparky" - the famous electric chair. Here is my ode to that good old chair. I was aiming for a halo like effect around the chair and I think I managed to get that.

So I decided to make June's theme "light painting" - I find this technique very interesting and I have never tried it before. I decided to do a practice run with a simple word, Hi, and here we go. No funky post production nonsense either, just me, a flashlight, and a camera. I have a whole slew of other ideas for pictures using this technique, this month should be a fun one.
