November's theme was minifigs and it was definitely the one theme I had the most fun with.  I was able to find some of the Series 2 minifigs while Christmas shopping yesterday and I managed to snag a mime.  The snow troopers and pilot don't like him...

October's theme was Architecture and all those photos focused on architecture in the Miami area, more specifically mostly the Coral Gables area.  Here I decided to roll with a fine example of classic early 20th century Lego architecture!

Oh Dr. Jones, X does occasionally mark the spot.  I like the X pattern on the bottom of this jingle bell and the patterns on the chocolate wrapper just out of focus behind it.

Green Fly (July:  Macro)

One of my favorite subjects during macro month was these little green flies that like to hang out on the hedge in my backyard.  So I went back and got some fresh shots.  I just love the eyes and reflective bodies of these guys.

July's theme, probably my favorite, was macro shots.  That was the first full month I had my macro lens, which I absolutely love.

Decided to let the lights on my Christmas tree do the painting this time.  All sorts of different colors reflecting through the crystal at one time, very nice.

BOO!  (June:  Light Painting)

June's theme was light painting.  Light painting usually involves using a flashlight, torch, or some kind of external lighting source to light or highlight part of picture.  During June I was using a flashlight to make a variety of designs, highlights, and streaks.  Here I decided to take a picture of my Lego ghosts which produce their own light, in effect painting themselves in the dark room.

This picture is for 12/3/10

March's theme was objects that begin with the letter M.  Here is a loosely formed cube of magnet balls (Buckyballs - Thanks Dunlaps!!).  These little balls are made up of rare earth magnets and they are extremely magnetic.  Loads of fun to play with.

One friend suggested I do a like a highlight reel of my best pictures from the last ten themes.  I kinda feel that's a bit off the goal of this project because I wouldn't be taking any more pictures until January.  So I slightly modified the idea and decided to recap the previous themes but with brand new pictures.  So I will be posting two new pictures for each theme and then finishing off the remaining days of the month with some holiday pictures because I like christmas decorations!  So the first two pictures recap the month of February where I was shooting small things.
